Budget Planning and Analysis

As a system-wide process, the development/documentation of annual operating and capital budget requests is a primary component of Planning and Budgeting’s work. Meeting the reporting requirements of state and federal agencies, participating in the allocation of annual state appropriations, coordinating the production of the budget summary for operations, and coordinating the establishment of tuition and fee rates comprise much of the department’s efforts.

Planning and Budgeting is integral to determining institutional support via financial aid. The office assesses and re-evaluates fiscal conditions to provide university constituents valid projections with comprehensive underlying data. As such, the office interacts with the Board of Trustees’ and President’s Offices to share statistics and trends, providing data as directed or requested to legislators.
