1Survey of the class of 2003 conducted in 2004
2Will total more than 100% because some graduates are working and attending school
Highlights:
2Will total more than 100% because some graduates are working and attending school
This table summarizes the essence of University of Illinois post-baccalaureate outcomes:
- Graduates work and go to school, regardless of campus (over 21% at both Urbana and Chicago were working and going to school)
- Two-thirds to almost three-quarters of graduates work full time and just over a tenth work part time.
- Less than 6% of graduates were looking for work at the time of the survey (9-12 months after graduation)--some of these graduates were between jobs and already looking for their second position.
- Over a quarter of Urbana graduates were in school full time in medicine, law, MBA, masters and doctoral programs. Of Chicago alumni who attend graduate or professional school, nearly double attend full time rather than part time.
