Brief Description:
The purposes of the Complete College America metrics are to: 1) inform/help policymakers and the general public to understand how students (particularly underserved, low-income, and minority young adults), institutions of higher education, and the state are faring in college completion; 2) assist policymakers and institutions of higher education identify specific challenges and analyze opportunities for improvement; 3) show progress by establishing a fair baseline and evidencing progress over time to boost completion rates; and 4) hold students, institutions of higher education, and the state accountable to the general public and to policymakers investing taxpayer dollars in higher education and its continued success.
